The 59er is a solidbody electric guitar with sound chambers, two pickups, 22 frets and a scale of 648 mm.
For a model of this classic construction, of course, the combination of maple and mahogany was our first choice. The neck and body are essentially made of high-quality mahogany, which perfectly suits our ideas of sound and charisma of this instrument. In order to optimize the weight and the resonance characteristics, the body is partially hollowed out ("chambered"). And finally, a massive, vaulted ceiling made of the finest curly maple crowns the whole thing in the truest sense of the word.
The '59 is equipped with two GrandVintage humbuckers and thus well prepared to become what its true purpose is: a real rock guitar! But we also wanted to give her the ability to clear, transparent sounds. Therefore, in the middle position of the 3-way switch, certain low-end frequencies are filtered out of the signal of the bridge humbucker, producing the clarity and sparkling heights we all love so much.
On the '59 we use the Diamond Griffette inserts originally designed for the Starplayer TV DLX. These insoles are only found on these two models.
Each of our instruments is equipped with our own hardware. From mechanical buttons to bushing plates, we design them with the utmost dedication to the little details, to build instruments that are unique and completely unique.
All our instruments are laboriously carved and crafted to achieve the best playability and silky feel they are known for.
