Taylor has a tradition of crafting limited-edition guitars featuring uniquely inspiring tonewood pairings, the new 914ce LTD showcases the stunning visual beauty and lush musical character of AA-grade Hawaiian koa and sinker redwood. Richly figured koa back and sides are paired with redwood selected for prominent striping. Together, the woods yield midrange sparkle, top-end shimmer and husky lows, along with a high volume ceiling and remarkable touch sensitivity for a broad dynamic range.
Features include a light shaded edgeburst around the body and neck, along with other premium aesthetic details associated with 900 Series models, including Crelicam ebony binding with a matching radius-style armrest, koa purfling with black and paua top edge trim, koa fretboard purfling, a single-ring paua rosette, Ascension inlays in pink abalone, a gloss-finish body, and Gotoh 510 tuners in antique gold.
