Audio-Technica ATW-901 Overview

The Audio-Technica System 9 VHF Wireless System with Mini Head Worn Microphone (Beige) is designed for live sound reinforcement. The system consists of a single-channel frequency-agile non-diversity receiver with grounded dipole extendable antennas, a UniPak bodypack transmitter, and a Pro 92cW-TH miniature headword beige condenser microphone. The receiver can operate on 169.505, 170.245, 171.045, or 171.905 MHz channels. The unit includes indicator lights for power, AF peak, and RF signals, as well as volume and squelch controls. For connections, the receiver uses both balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" output jacks.

The bodypack transmitter includes a series of DIP switches for trimming the instrument or microphone input level, as well as selecting from the four available radio transmission channels. The outside of the unit features a mute button, a microphone or instrument input connector, a flexible antenna, and an LED indicator light for power, mute, and battery status. The condenser microphone features a lightweight contoured earpiece and a flexible boom for comfortable fit and easy adjustments.

The receiver can operate on 169.505, 170.245, 171.045, or 171.905 MHz channels
Squelch Control
The receiver features a squelch adjustment knob that controls the threshold for the radio signal that regulates audio output. If the radio signal from the bodypack transmitter drops below the threshold, the squelch control mutes the audio output to prevent the transmission of radio interference and white noise from entering the speakers
Cord Hook
To prevent the power cord from pulling out of the receiver, the unit includes a cord hook for alleviating tension put on the cord
Balanced XLR Audio Output Jack
For connecting the receiver to a balanced input, such as on a mixer, the unit features a balanced XLR audio output jack
For connecting the receiver to an unbalanced input, the unit features an unbalanced 1/4" audio output jack
