The Ibanez AX120 electric guitar echos the design of the original Ibanez Artist series from the '70s, with its double-cutaway body design, and legacy headstock with 3 on-a-side tuners. If there ever was a guitar to imitate, it was the Artist model.
This AX120 is the latest version of the Ibanez AX series, it's built using a Poplar body with a bolt-on Maple neck topped with a bound New Zealand Pine fingerboard with block inlays. The fretboard has a 12" radius, and is seasoned to make it more durable and stable, and is fretted with 22 medium frets.
Electronics in the Ibanez AX120 include Ibanez Classic Elite H passive pickups, which produce a fat low-end with ample high-end clarity. Controls include two volume, two tone knobs, and a 3-way pickup selector switch. Everything you need, and nothing more.
Other features include a Full Tune III bridge and tailpiece, smooth and easy-playing Maple neck, 1.69" nut width, chrome hardware, and a beautiful high gloss Candy Apple Red finish.
